BU Collective Organizer Agreement
Independent Meet-Ups
This agreement outlines the terms for individuals hosting independent community meet-ups using or referencing BU Collective and Barefoot University curriculum.

1. Independent Organizer Status
I understand and agree that I am acting solely as an independent individual. I am not an employee, volunteer, contractor, agent, or representative of Barefoot University.

2. No Representation as Official Program
I will not advertise, describe, or imply that my meet-up is an official Barefoot University Forest School program.

I will clearly communicate to all participants that:

  • This is an independent-led BU Collective group

  • It is not supervised or operated by Barefoot University


3. Responsibility for Group Structure
I understand that I am responsible for how I organize and communicate expectations for the group.

4. Use of Name and Materials
I may reference BU Collective only in a way that does not imply certification, or official affiliation. I agree to follow any branding or language guidelines provided.

5. No Coverage by Organization
I understand that Barefoot University does not provide:

  • Insurance coverage

  • Staff supervision

  • Safety oversight

  • Training or support

  • Member services


6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Barefoot University from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to my meet-up.

7. Optional Insurance (Strongly Encouraged)
I understand I am responsible for determining whether to obtain liability insurance for my activities.

8. Revocation of Permission
Barefoot University may revoke my ability to reference its name or materials at any time if these terms are not followed.
