Rhythm Earth in a Box

If you’re a road schooler, missed out on forest school, or don’t have BU near you – this is for you! Forest School in a box includes 36 weeks of Rhythm Earth activity instructions, a nature journal, and supplies to complete the activities.* Supplies are for one child. Earth in a Box is the perfect way to do Barefoot at home or on the go. Rhythm Earth takes you through three 12 week cycles of learning about the earth. Cycle one learns about the ground, dirt, rocks, grass, fossils, etc. some activities include dirt batteries, basket making, dirt candles, and seed blasters. Cycle two is all about animals and trees, some activities include owl pellet dissection, leaf ID, shelter building, habitat hunt, tree cookies, and animal tracks. Cycle three guides you through local plants and insects, some of those activities include insect behavior experiment, random sampling, a micro hike, pollinator count, and lichen hunt. * additional supplies found at home may be needed to complete some activities (ie: baking soda, scissors, tape measure, etc.)
